Do your bit for charity at the CHARM Cheerleading Championships 2010

A little reminder to those coming for the CHARM Cheerleading Championships at 1 Utama next week:

We will be having Cheer Challenge segments and games but there's a small twist - you have to pay RM1 to play each time.

We are raising funds for the SPCA and a kindergarten for poor children.

All proceeds will go to them. The SPCA will also have a booth at our event. We would like to encourage all participants and visitors to contribute generously.

Please feel free to bring pet food or kitty litter for the animals, which you can drop off at the SPCA booth.

You are also encouraged to donate books and writing material for the children, and you can drop them off at the CHARM booth.

Judges for C3 2010

The judges for the CHARM Cheerleading Championships will be flying in on Thursday and Friday from all around. Look out for some familiar faces.

Our ICU judge from the USA will be Jessica Colombo who was at Cheer Jam 2009.

She has been a UCA instructor for 7 years, 6 years on UCA College Staff, and 5 years on UCA Core Staff. She cheered all 4 years competitively at Hofstra University where she led the team to two national championships in 2006 and 2007.

She's former head coach of Don Bosco Preparatory High School Varsity cheerleading and continues to do choreography for competitive local high schools.

She is an active ABA therapist for children with Autism and is currently the cheerleading consultant in the production of Bring It On the Musical.
