Those who wish to try out for Team Malaysia have to be aged 16 and above and will need to be able to do the following:
- Jumps and tumbling : Toe touch double whip back handspring / back tuck
- Tumbling Series : Round off back handspring / Handspring series
- Stunts (Flyers) : Stretches - Heel Stretch, Bow & arrow, Scorpion , etc. Able to do double down from Single leg, double leg. Kick Double from Toss.
- Stunts (Bases) : Strength - Able to Do single Basing, Group Stunts, Toss.
